Cut through water jet

Waterjet cutting machines use ultra-high water pressure ranging from 40,000 PSI to 90,000 PSI (~2,750Bar to ~6,200Bar) to cut all types of materials up to 600mm thick , except tempered glass, which would break under pressure. However, we recommend that you limit the use of these machines to cutting parts up to 300 mm thick, in order to maintain good cutting speed and precision.

To section rigid materials, it is necessary to use a fluid containing water mixed with an abrasive. For flexible materials, which could be cut with a blade, pure water can be used. The absence of abrasive prolongs tool life.

Water jet cutting does not deform the piece, as it does not have HAZ (aftda thermal zone) since there is no increase in temperature, and allows a high quality finish.
